# Connect Microsoft Teams to the current workspace

> Begins binding a Microsoft Teams org to the caller's EXISTING tenant. Teams
has no install redirect HQ controls (unlike Slack), so this starts a
verified "Sign in with Microsoft" (Entra OIDC): the callback records a
`teams_bind_claims` row tying the admin's AAD org (`tid`) + user (`oid`) to
this HQ tenant, and a later Teams app install in that org binds to this
tenant when the installer matches. Admin only; top-level browser navigation,
not an XHR. See docs/teams-microsoft-signin.md.
